About DuPage Area Moms

The mission of DuPage Area Moms is to empower mothers to connect with and support each other through a vibrant mothers support network, while also participating in community service for moms that benefits all mothers via local events for mothers.

Our aim is to educate our members through engaging programs, local events for mothers, and inspiring speakers that promote meaningful interactions among them. We also strive to provide opportunities for moms to explore their identities beyond motherhood, enhancing their sense of self. Additionally, we foster a supportive mothers support network by offering chances to give back through community service for moms facing distressing circumstances.

EVENTS FOR MOTHERS 

We believe it is essential for moms to enjoy some “grown-up time” dedicated exclusively to mothers. Our local events for mothers, such as Moms’ Night Out, include workshops, guest speakers, casual movie nights, and painting lessons. Additionally, we host social events like our fully catered Holiday Party and Mother’s Day Brunch. Some of our other events, such as Halloween and the Summer Picnic, are designed to include the whole family. We also offer a unique mothers support network through our “playgroup” for moms only, known as Seasoned Moms, which meets during school hours. Moreover, our Book Club serves as a popular opportunity for mothers to come together, fostering conversation and laughter. Members are encouraged to attend as many events as their schedules permit. 

EVENTS WITH OUR CHILDREN 

Playgroups provide fantastic opportunities for moms and their tots to connect. Whether meeting at a member’s home, a local park, or a play center, these gatherings allow moms to meet friends while engaging in community service for moms. Our Mom and Tot Outings are designed to explore child-friendly locations and activities in DuPage County, including 2 Toots Train Whistle Grill, SciTech, and Cosley Zoo, as well as tours of facilities such as Danada Equestrian Center and a fire station.
